Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and SkyHost. They cover how you may use SkyHost — an AI concierge that answers guest messages and helps close bookings for short-term-rental hosts. Please read them; using SkyHost means you accept them.
Accepting these terms
By creating a SkyHost account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using SkyHost on behalf of a business, you confirm you have the authority to accept them for that business.
If you do not agree, please do not use SkyHost.
What SkyHost is
SkyHost is a software tool for hosts. It connects to your messaging channels — starting with your Facebook Page — and replies to guest inquiries on your behalf: answering questions, quoting rates, checking your availability, and helping move a booking toward payment.
SkyHost acts under your direction and on your behalf. It is a tool that assists you; it does not replace your own judgment as the host. We may add, change, or remove features as the product grows.
Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone has accessed it without your permission.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use SkyHost. Keep your account details accurate and up to date.
Acceptable use
SkyHost is for running your own legitimate hosting. You agree not to:
- use it for anything illegal, deceptive, or harmful, or to send spam or harass anyone;
- impersonate someone else or misrepresent who you are or what your property is;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service; or
- use it in a way that violates the rules of the platforms it connects to, such as Meta.
The AI's replies, and your responsibility
SkyHost generates replies automatically. Like any AI, it can get things wrong — a date, a price, an availability, or the phrasing of a message. You are responsible for the messages SkyHost sends on your behalf, just as if you had written them yourself.
You control the settings that shape those replies: your rates, calendar, house rules, property details, and the instructions you write. You can review replies before they send using draft mode, and you can take over any conversation at any time. Please keep your information accurate and check in on how SkyHost is answering.
SkyHost is not a party to the agreement between you and your guests. Bookings, cancellations, refunds, deposits, and house rules are between you and your guest. Nothing SkyHost produces is legal, tax, or professional advice.
Payments and billing
During early access, SkyHost may be free or offered on special terms. When paid plans launch, we will tell you the fees, billing cycle, and any taxes before they apply. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we say otherwise.
SkyHost may help you collect guest payments or deposits through third-party payment processors such as PayMongo. We do not hold your funds — those move through the processor to you under the processor's terms. You are responsible for the prices and deposit amounts you configure.
Third-party services
SkyHost relies on services we do not control, including Meta / Facebook (Messenger and Pages), payment processors such as PayMongo, AI and large-language-model providers, and cloud hosting and infrastructure.
Your use of those services is also subject to their terms — for example, you must comply with Meta's platform terms and policies for your Page. We are not responsible for their availability or actions, and if they change or restrict their platforms, parts of SkyHost may change too.
Disclaimers
SkyHost is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the AI's replies will always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for a given situation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkyHost is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost bookings, or lost data arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to SkyHost is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or a nominal amount if the service was free to you.
Termination
You can stop using SkyHost at any time by disconnecting your channels and closing your account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if your use creates risk for the service, other users, or the platforms we connect to.
When your access ends, your right to use SkyHost stops, and we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as SkyHost evolves. If a change is material, we will give you notice. Continuing to use SkyHost after an update means you accept the new terms.
